oh, hi

I’m so glad you’re here

let me introduce myself

my name is Joy Lindsay, and my pronouns are she/her. its nice to meet you

why I am a kid therapist

As a former therapy kid myself, I know firsthand that resiliency and confidence can best be fostered in relationship with your adults. My first experiences with therapy as a child were tremendously helpful in feeling understood, supported, and capable. I only hope to offer your child a similar experience.

what I value

a well rounded approach

I love to engage in up-to-date training and research about childhood depression and anxiety, neurodivergence, identity development and gender identity, as well as somatic and expressive arts therapy practices for a well-rounded and tailored care approach.

whole system care

I have an affinity for working with the whole system which means including you, school staff, and doctors as needed in your child’s care, and referring to other supports that may be a good fit.

a little about me as a human

The Trolls movies give me all the feels and I could watch them on repeat—preferably under a blanket with snacks and tea.

I am the middle child in a large family and the only introvert in the bunch

I am neurodivergent myself, and have loads of experience feeling uncertain how to exist in the world.

I have a stuffed bunny named Poppy, and a sweet spot for Calico Critters.

I love to paint and draw.
